I finally convinced my husband to get a fitbit. He's had his inspire HR less than a year and it just died. It stopped syncing to his phone, then wouldn't charge. Now its just dead, has been about a week now. I've tried leaving it plugged in, holding for 5 seconds to restart, using a new charger etc. Anyone else experience theirs just dying? I've had my charge for 3.5 years with no problems. He's so mad he spent $100 and it just died like 6 months later.

Let me help you with your husband's Inspire HR not working and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Try cleaning the contacts using cotton swab with rubbing alcohol, then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's USB port (try different ports) or use an UL-certified USB adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves. You can follow these instructions to help your tracker charge.
