When I press button or tap on the screen the time appears but cannot scroll to steps or any other info. The screen just goes blank.

Before I saw your reply I had plugged it into the charger this morning and tried it again with no results, but when I tried again later it was fine. If the problem arises again I'll follow your recommendations. Thank you very much for taking the time to respond!

This has happened to me multiple times and I was wondering if this is common for the Inspire HR or if there is something wrong with mine.

Thank you for the link to the reset instructions. However, this needs to be something you can do without the charger! A long press on the button should be able to initiate this; not everyone carries their fitbit charger around 24/7 (why would you?!?) and now I'm at work for the next 10 hours with a fitbit that is not tracking anything. Please forward to development.

Thanks man, this worked perfectly and restored my Fitbit Inspire HR's operation. Much easier than tracking down a charger and restarting. Kudos.

I had my Inspire HR lock up, stuck on time display, (clock still working)
Not running it from Smart Phone, using PC.
Went to the PC App Dashboard, and selected Account (Icon top right on screen) and from there selected "Activity" & (I think) clicked on on of the settings without changing it , which unfroze the touch-control on the watch. Not entirely sure about what happened when but the standard method quoted by Fitbit didn't work for me (repeatedly!!!), and I have had previous issues of this type with the watch.
Inspired to do this by the post about changing the clock-face using the Smart Phone app, so thanks for that!
