Inspire HR unresponsive during update process

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I just opened my new Inspire HR, fully charged it, paired it and ran the initial updates. It got to the installing section of the update but then my Fitbit completely died, black screen, unresponsive and unable to reset.

is there anything that can be done to restore factory settings or something please?

Hi @RunFatboy1, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting over here. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if the heart rate sensors are flashing or is your device completely unresponsive? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check our help article: Why isn't my battery charging on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.

Looking forward to your reply.

Thanks for the reply,

There’s no signs of life at all, no lights at the back either.

If it wasn’t for the fact I’d 100% charged it and paired it before running the update, I’d have thought it was the battery too, but it was working as expected before the update.

I’ve also tried a number of different other charger combinations with another Fitbit bought and setup at the same time, but no luck I’m afraid.
