Inspire HR won't hold a charge

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Fitbit Inspire HR will not stay charged for longer than a day. I have turned off my Bluetooth to save battery life. I turned off notifications so that doesn't drain the battery. Basically, I'm not able to use any of the features it has and it still wont keep a charge! Suggestion? Will they replace it? Thanks for any advice!

Exactly my case too.  It is NOT over use, GPS, dirty connectors, lack of sync, etc.  It gord from 100% to !!!! in a day.  Every day.  Clearly a software or battery integrity problem.  Fitbit needs to recognize and address the problem.

My story exactly. Two months past the warranty. Only solution I received is 25% off a new one. Don't think so.

Yes, I heard back from the people that I bought my Fitbit from on Amazon.
The 'suggestion' was a discount on ordering a new one because it was passed
the one-year warranty by 4 months. The battery in the Fitbit cannot be
replaced. It's basically a throw away watch...a $99 throw away. So I
purchased a DoSmarter Fitness tracker for $34. It tracks blood pressure,
something the Fitbit doesn't do. I figured if I was going to throw it away
in a year, $34 was better than $99. An interesting note, my daughter bought
a Fitbit and she encouraged me to buy one. When I told her mine died, she
was surprised. Hers was still working. Guess what...hers died this week!

Hi.... there does seem to be an issue with this model.... when I contacted customer support they sent sent me a replacement....this wouldn’t sync to my Fitbit account and kept crashing and so they sent me out another...the second replacement set up fine but again wouldn’t hold a charge for more then a day... got back onto them and they said could be the charging cable... I said I had tried a different cable and clearly an issue with the model as I’d seen similar posts on the forum etc and so they sent me out a third replacement... this one has set up fine and the charge is holding for several days... if still in warranty contact Fitbit Support.... I have always found them very helpful and keen to resolve issues... good luck

I wish I could but support refuses to help despite my fitbit being 2 months old.

support will not help you. Just tried as am having same issue, except mine I recieved in mid june 2020. Support gave me a number to call and when I did no answer so sol. Expensive step counter that will not last a day. Now am forced to file a dispute with consumer affairs and credit card due to fitbit failing to honor warranty for a defective product. I asked to talk to manager and was brushed off > am very dissappointed that battery lasts for a day for a step counter as the other features never did work on my device.

Did that twice, no go. This morning they saw battery depleted 6% in 15 minutes, while sitting on table and they still refuse to help

I have the same issue suddenly this week mine was a Christmas gift so it's eight months old and now won't hold a charge for more than 8 hours, I loved the alarm clock and the sleep features that I can't use anymore very disappointed in this battery life for what I know was an expensive gift. I've tried to do the latest update multiple times and it fails every time as well

You should still be in the warranty so hopefully they will replace for
you. Hopefully your new one lasts longer. The rest of us are out of luck.

thats strange they wont replace .. they just sent me a new one .. they made me go thru a charge it up fully .. let it drain fully (24 hours) .. they can monitor that online

validated my purchase of course thru my fitbit acct (i  bought it on amazon) to ensure i was legit

then said .. yup  .draining too fast .. and sent me a new one

the original issue was as much me cos i lost their online chat link and they dont make it easy to find o their website

Doesnt change my impression of the crpy charging cable but otherwise I am a happy customer

It is a shame I really do love it but I probably wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

My fitbit Inspire will not hold charge, it has suddenly happened in the last 3 or 4 days. I have done the recommended actions fitbit has suggested in the other posts but it is not working. Also, I haven't changed any settings so I don't see why it has suddenly stopped working unless there is a fault. It is less than a year old and I am now not wearing it. Help!

I had the same issue. I noticed it happened after installing a recommended update. Just curious to see if you have installed any updates recently?  If you are inside of your warranty, they will help. If you’re outside of the warranty they will not help. There is no loyalty to the customer in this company.

I am pretty upset, just got a replacement Fitbit for issues with my 7 mo old model. This one is doing the same thing now, not even 1 day and it is out of charge. I will be addressing this with them. Not cool, Fitbit...

Huh *Your Upset* January 2nd I just bought a Fitbit HR so I could monitor my hear rate and my sleeping pattern for my Heart Doctor he recommended that I get this. I had 2 heart attacks in August 2020.

Brand new out of the box #1, it would not set up, #2 I charge it for almost 4 hours straight and it dies in less then 18 hours. WT??

The directions says the battery will last 3-5 days, It's not even lasting 1 day on a full charge.

I had to do a factory reset to get this to finally set up, Battery still will not last 24 hours before needing to be recharged, What a rip off!!

I paid $56. + shipping for what was Supposed to be Dr recommended item that would help me to monitor my heart rate and my sleeping problems on my phone And to help me keep track of my daily walking habits.

But to be ripped off by FitBit Never trusting this company or it's Products ever again!

What a waste of Money!!

I agree. Suprised the dr recommended this to monitor heart rate as it isnt very accurate for that either.
