As an existing user, I am trying to set up my new Inspire HR tracker using my computer rather than my phone. I follow the steps until I get to Select a Device. The Inspire HR is not listed. Now what should I do?

Let me help you setting up your Inspire HR. Some of our newer devices will require an Android or iOS device to be setup. You could use one from a friend or relative to setup your tracker.

I finally returned the Inspire as I could not get a consistent answer regarding the set up of this product. I also did not like the magnetic feature of the charging cable. The whole process was frustrating and time wasting.

Yep, I'm about there myself. If frustration were an exercise, Fitbit would be a world leader in fitness.

Do I need to return my Inspire HR because I do not have a smartphone? I only use my laptop? Help to be able to add it to my account.

My daughter helped me set it up on the Ipad. Thank goodness for her help!

Got it done with daughter's help by setting it up through an ipad. Very frustrating though because I did not know beforehand that it wouldn't work by doing it on my laptop.
