Inspire HR won't swipe

I'm trying to swipe up or down on my Inspire HR and I can't. The main screen lights up but I can't swipe to any others. It worked fine yesterday. Can I restart it?

If it needs a daily reset and you've only had it 3 days, I'd return it for another one. Sounds like you've got a dud.

The reset instructions on the first post finally worked.  Hard part is holding the buttons for exactly 5 seconds.  To short or to long and it does not work.  Once I got it to reset everything works fine again.

Doesn't work for me. I see the smile but I still can't swipe the screen

It has happened to me twice.  the latest time this week.  It took 3 days of trying before it finally worked.  I also tried letting the battery drain then recharging it.  Not sure if that helped or not.  Quite annoying!!  Good luck.

I could  not get it running  do I sent it back to the seller cause it was just before the end of the guarantee period..

If they can't fix it than I get my money back.

Never return any Fitbit back without proper authorization. When possible, returning a device to the retailer is faster.

I returned my fitbit to the retailer. If he can't repair it I will get my money back.

Instructions provided did not work. Nor did syncing. Swiping still does not work. Tap on doesn't always work, either.

Reset didn’t work at all (as suggested by Fitbit chat room) but somewhere in community pages, a user suggested changing clock face and it worked! Now I can swipe.  Change clock face on app page

My Inspire HR screen locked up and I tried the reset without success.

Someone mentioned that setting an alarm worked for them. It didn't for me. 

Someone else mentioned that resetting the clock face worked for them. So I tried that and that did work.  When I switched back to my preferred clock face it also works fine again. Yay!

My Fitbit won’t swipe - when you say ‘press the button’ do you mean the main screen or the side  of the Fitbit?

I had to hold the button down for 20 seconds before it smiled and reset.
