Inspire HR won't sync

Since iOS 13.4 update my Inspire HR will not sync with Bluetooth on iPad 2018, iPhone 6s, windows 10 computer or using website. This was not a problem in the past. I was able to use the dongle to update on windows 10, but I want to use the Bluetooth connection. Is there a solution?

Welcome to the Forums, @Lightning565.

I am sorry for the delay in respond, due to recent events affecting our operations, support options are limited and wait times are longer than usual.

Now about your syncing issue, I would like to know if you keep experiencing this? If so, I recommend taking a look at the help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and follow the instructions provided there.

Let me know the outcome. 🙂

Hi

I have put the app on my very old mini 2 iPad and it works there. I had purposely put it on my newer iPad thinking my old mini would be too old.  I am really surprised that the app has not been updated to work on the average iPads, only the minis and Pro models. It would be nice if this could be an update.

I have major problems with the Windows 10 app not working. It does not hold the bluetooth connection for some  reason and if I have it on the computer the iPad connection is not reliable either. Consequently I just have it on the mini iPad now which is disappointing. If ever this gets fixed I would love to be advised. Thanks for taking the time to answer.

Hi Lightning565. I'm having similar issues. InspireHR which used to sync pretty well via Bluetooth now a nightmare. Constantly drops the Bluetooth connection to my iPhone 6. I've done all the obvious things. Rebooted my iPhone, force quit the FitBit App, reset the pairing between the Inspire and iPhone bluetooth, etc., but the problem persists. I'm only getting an intermittent connection and it can take me tens of minutes to establish a Bluetooth link. I can sit with my iPhone in the hand on which I wear the InspireHR and I still get the message saying 'Cannot connect. Make sure device is within range'. Well I know Bluetooth is a short range technology but 6 inches is clearly not correct. I seem to be exhausting the options other than filing the Inspire HR under "B" (for bin) and switching to an Apple Watch.
