Is there a safe way to wall charge my fitbit Inspire HR? I'm told the fitbit should only be charged via a laptop, if so, is there a usb wall plug I can use instead?

A wall charger will be fine. I have only used a wall charger (that came with my mobile phone) for the last 5 - 6 years and had no issues. Fitbit say:

 

"Plug the charging cable that came with your Fitbit device into a USB port on your computer, a UL-certified USB wall charger, or another low-energy device."
