Inspire HR

This is frustrating! I have tried all the troubleshoots and my HR still doesn't work! I specifically chose this one to monitor my heart rate. What do I do now?

Hi, @scridgeway , I think we might need a little more information!

 

1. Are the green lights on the back of your Inspire HR on and flashing?

 

2. Is the HR setting turned ON on your Inspire HR?  Swipe down until you come to the settings menu, tap, and then swipe up to HeartRate.  Tap to toggle between ON and OFF.  Make sure it is set to ON and press the button to return to the clock face screen.  You should be able to tap the screen and scroll through your stats to come to the HR reading.  Is that working?

 

If the green lights are not lighting up, or if they are lit and the HeartRate setting is ON and you still cannot see a heartrate reading, please try to give your Inspire HR a restart: 

 

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Hold the other end of the charging cable near the port on the back of the tracker until it attaches magnetically. The pins on the charging cable must connect securely with the port.
  3. Press and hold the button on your tracker for 5 seconds. 
  4. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.

Sometimes you may need to repeat this a couple of times, as a single restart does not always work.

 

If after several restarts you still cannot see your Heartrate, and the heartrate setting is ON, and the green light is lit, then you might want to try tightening your band just a little so that there is good contact with your wrist.
