Hi all, I just started using my newly purchased Inspire and have a question regarding sleep tracking. I have been using a Fitbit One for a few years and no problems tracking sleep, just had to remember to start and stop the timer.
Now to my question. I am using the Inspire in the clip mode. Will the Inspire track sleep with the device clipped to my tee shirt while sleeping or do I have to have it on my wrist? With the One I was able to track sleep while the device was attached to my tee shirt.
If this is not the case then at best I will have to re-attach the wrist bands and change it from the clip mode every night.
Sorry for the length of this question.
Looking forward to your replies.
Thank you!

Hi, @hdflhtcu , you will need to set your Inspire to "wrist mode" for it to track sleep, and you should not use the app to start sleep. As long as it is in wrist mode it should track your sleep automatically.
You will need to experiment to see whether you can still get reasonably accurate details if you wear it clipped to your body (but in wrist mode). It is definitely designed to be worn on the wrist in sleep mode. If you do not want to add the wrist bands you could also slip it into the One sleep band if you still have that

Hi again, I tried your suggestions and it seems to have worked. I set it to wrist mode in the evening and back to clip in the morning and somehow it is now tracking my sleep. Just FYI I slipped it into a pocket and it still tracked my sleep. Go figure. Thanks again for your help!
Best Answerthese frigging watches that does not come with any kind of instructions. What is this making the watch wristmode? I slept with my HR last nite and I know fell asleep around 8pm or 2000 hrs. Logged into my webpage and it says I went to sleep at 2300 which is 11PM. I woope at 0230 and it said I slept till 0405. WRONG I tried to change the from and to but it kept erroring. Why am I waiting $100 on a piece of crap that you need to be a genius to operate? I am not very puter or electronics knowledgeable. Alml I want to do is track how far I walk my dog twice a day and how much sleep i get. Already found out HR does not track deep sleep and/or light sleep either so this HR is a piece of **ahem**!!!
