I got my Inspire a week ago. It was working great with my Mac and iPad. Yesterday, Inspire stopped syncing at 2:14 pm. I cannot get it to sync with my Mac or iPad for anything. It's counting steps on the Inspire but not syncing with my Mac or iPad. Someone suggested attaching the Inspire to the charger and holding the button for 10 seconds. That wiped out today's steps on the Inspire (back to 0) but it still won't sync with my Mac or iPad. Fitbit Support won't get back to me for 2 days. Thinking about returning this thing!

I had the same problem. After doing everything, did the following and it worked:
Go to Bluetooth
Under "My devises, click the "i" icon next to your Fitbit model
Select "forget this devise"
Mine synced perfectly after this.

OMG! Thank you nomcc! It worked! I have spent days and many hours trying to fix this and your solution was so simple. And to everyone else... try nomcc’s solution first. It may save you a lot of time,

nomcc:
Thank you so very much! I've been struggling with this issue for 2 days. Because of your instructions I've recovered over 29K steps. I get monetary rewards for using Fitbit and am grateful to not have lost all those steps.
Synched perfectly using your instructions. It's too bad your advice wasn't at the top of this very long string. Hopefully the "monitor" can make that happen or at least restate your very 'SIMPLE SOLUTION!"

If you are still having ongoing issues syncing then your method didn’t work for you.
This really is outrageous. I bought it so that I could use the app on my phone but no matter what I do it won’t pair. It did at first but won’t now.

Hello,
what happens if we’ve exhausted all these options? I purchased my inspire less than 1 year ago but without it syncing to my phone it becomes useless...
please help!
Never mind! I used the advice in those thread to “forget this device” and then repaired the device. It works!

So ... I piggybacked nomcc idea even though I do not have an iphone. I have a motorola so it would be an android system. I was having similar syncing problems. When chatting with tech support, we tried all the usual suspects such as turn phone off/on ... bluetooth off/on and deleting the app and reinstalling app. Nothing changed .... and the result was that phone was just not compatible with the fitbit software and they have people working diligently to make a variety of phones compatible. I was at a loss ...
After seeing nomc's solution I explored the bluetooth app on my phone. At one point, the phone asked me if I wanted to forget "Inspire HR" ... I typically click "deny" so ... I tried to click "forget." When I returned back to the fitbit app .... it worked ... the data synced and it seems like it is working today.
Now .... I don't know about tomorrow. It may not sync tomorrow and go back to its old ways. We shall see then.

Now I can’t get my phone to find my Inspire at all. Tried all the suggestions. Nothing.

I purchased the Inspire to replace my Fitbit One since the clip is worn out and I can get a replacement. I wanted a fitness tracker that I could clip to my waist rather than a watch. NOT impressed with the Inspire. A waste of money. The only time it sync'd was when it was been set up. It hasn't sync'd any of the data in the last 5 days and re-starting it wipes all the previous data. None of the suggestions on the forum has helped. It wont' sync to Windows 10 or to Android.
