Inspire inaccurate in more ways then one

Is anyone else having major issues with their inspire HR?

I just started wearing mine on the 22nd of December, and although I love the look and sleek design of this Fitbit, I’m starting to lose faith and already considering returning or just throwing it in the dresser drawer.

The step count is so inaccurate it blows my mind.  It’s doubling the step count of my wife’s Apple Watch and my iPhone (not to say they are any better, but more realistic in my opinion.)

It freezes every so often and stops counting my steps, and sometimes I’ll be sitting still and the step count starts to sky rocket while I’m doing absolutely nothing.

the heart rate monitor and calories burned are out to lunch as well.  I woke up two days ago and apparently had already burned 1200calories.

I really like the sleep features on this Fitbit, but when I have no faith in any of the technology they should have locked down, why would I believe what they’re telling me about my sleep patterns?

any help or insight appreciated.

It sounds faulty to begin with. I would exchange it wherever you was bought

As for calories burned nothing wrong there

The calories burned are BMR calories. Your fitbit also calculates calories burned for your BMR. You burn calories just by being alive! Even Sleeping. Fitbit includes these burned calories in it's calorie calculations, so even if you did not wear the fitbit, you'll still burn these calories.

I am having the same same problem. I have changed to the Inspire HR after using the Fitbit One for many years. I tried wearing both devices and the step count difference is between 300 to 400 steps. I also find when travelling as a passenger my Fitbit will count up to 100 steps. Is my device faulty, as a present for Christmas from my daughters I need to know if it needs changing and how to go about this

“So, a person who weighs 150 pounds might burn 46 calories an hour or between 322 and 414 calories a night”

Maybe I’m misunderstanding you, but quoting this off of google, I’m roughly 210lbs. There’s no way I’m going to be burning 3x that amount?!?!?
