Inspire isn't turning on

Hi, my Fitbit inspire is less than a year old. The screen isn’t turning on, when ye press the button on the side nothing happens. I’ve tried charging it for a few hours still nothing. I feel disappointed as this watch isn’t even a year old. I am currently considering changing product type if nothing is done. Looking forward from hearing from ye!

I understand how are you feeling and appreciate all the efforts in trying to fix this turning on issue. Have you tried to restart your device? If you haven't, I recommend trying this by following the steps in the article: How do I restart my Fitbit device?.

Ive had 2 of these watches in a years time. They both had this same problem as have MANY MANY MANY others. Actually mine is currently having this problem again. I really hope someone can offer you a good solution.

Do try restarting the watch bc it does work occasionally but not always. It usually takes me a few days to a week to get it running again. It seems to be that Fitbit is aware this is a problem and has never bothered to address it unless you contact them and work towards a replacement. Bad business practices if you ask me.

I called the service support and they offered to replace it! So, i’m wondering if I should replace it for free or take the 50% discount on a different device. Mine is also less than a year old. It was working fine yesterday, I took it off the charger today and all the button pressing I could muster up wouldn’t restart it!

There is no tips, tricks or anything that'll help. You can only contact customer support and hope its under warranty. Ive done the same since my other reply. 

 

The only way you might get it working is what ive been doing all year. You plug it in and hold the power button for up to 40sec. This will take many attempts over probably multiple days. Ive had it take up to a month to get it working again. Im so sorry I cant provide more help.
