Inspire not receiving notifications

Recently, my Inspire will not show me messages unless I am right next to my phone.  It previously would work if I was across my classroom. Is there a way to fix this?

Hi @Kayaker2012. It's great to see you here again. I'm sorry for the delayed response.

Thanks for letting me know about your Inspire. Let me explain that to receive notifications your phone and tracker need to be within 30 feet. If by any chance you use more than one device to sync, make sure to turn off the Bluetooth from that device so it won't interfere with the connection between your Inspire and phone.

If those conditions are met but you still having issues to receive notifications, try the following:

  1. Remove your Inspire from the Bluetooth settings on your phone.
  2. Verify if the Fitbit app is updated to the latest version.
  3. Open the Fitbit app, tap on your profile picture > Inspire > Sync Now.
  4. Once that is completed, set up the notifications one more time.
