I got a Fitbit Inspire (not the HR) about 2 weeks ago and everything worked perfect for the first 3 days.
Now, it will not log Sleep and it will not log Exercise in the app. It also randomly stopped buzzing me for alerts for the 250 steps an hour reminder. All the features are ceasing to function properly over time.
Any help would be appreciated.
PS-- I have already tried rebooting the Inspire about 5 to 6 times. It has not fixed any issues. I also tried closing out the App and restarting, as well. No changes.
I am afraid to utilize the Clear User Data function as I have my Inspire linked to my job's fitness programs and am worried I will lose my progress with them. Would this be the case if I cleared user data?
I'm out of ideas.

@JJJmo Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!
Let me help you with your Inspire not recording your data and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Clearing the data won't delete the information on your account as this is saved on the Fitbit servers. It will delete any data that hasn't been synced with your account. Still this is a good troubleshoot that you can try. You can read more about this here.
Let me know how it goes.

Hi, thanks for the response. I tried clearing the data and resyncing the Inspire to the app and it seems to have fixed the exercise, sleep and 250 steps reminder issues I was having. Maybe that was the fix needed. Thanks again.

@JJJmo thank you for the update and sorry for the delay in mine.
Really happy to hear that your Inspire is working after clearing its data and thank you for confirming this as it may help other members in the same situation.
I'll be around.

I have a similar problem. My tracker stopped tracking sleep. I tried rebooting many times and it didn't work. I found this post and followed the steps to return to factory settings but it also didn't work. I followed the first few steps (connect to charger, hold button 2-ish seconds, unplug from charger while still holding button, and continuing to hold for 7-9 seconds, then letting go and holding again). However, "ALT" never appeared, even though I held it for about a minute and a half. What now?
