I've been trying all day to set a new Inspire up. Won't finish on Win 10. Won't finish on LG Android. Won't pair through the bluetooth controls, but will find it with bluetooth. Finds the device and provides the code, then it can't connect. Just refuses to work. This is my 3rd fit bit and I've had syncing issues with the other 2 in the past, but I could at least set it up. Several of the "solutions" on this page are just "keep trying". That just points to a bad product. I work for a fortune 100 (top 3) insurance company, Fitbit is offered as a tracker in our wellness programs. Judging by the results of my help searches, I'll be calling HR in the morning to complain and move to a new vendor. I spent hard earned wellness credits on this for nothing! I recommend anyone with one of these, take it back. I'll be looking for a refund of points. So frustrated right now.

Mine finally paired and synced this morning. I'm just glad it's working.

Like everyone else on this thread, I just bought a brand new Inspire, and have spent hours trying to get it to setup with multiple devices with no luck.
Based on this thread, starting to think I should take it back and get my money back

Its like buying a handgun, you have to wait 24 hrs and suddenly it will work.

Do excuse me for jumping on here but I notice there are now 60 odd replies from people with the same problem. . Regrettably we don't have big business buying power but as everyone is left with no alternative but to return their trackers and buy a different more reliable brand, not through choice I hasten to point out, but simply because there IS NO HELP TO SORT IT...Do you think you could possibly raise a support ticket for everyone else?

I solve the problem with PATIENCE.
Here's what *I* did:
Since then, it has stopped syncing one time. I fixed it by resetting my fitbit and stopping / restarting the app on my phone. Simple as that.
I hope that helps.
exactly. Why a day? Who knows. Seriously - who flippin' knows. But that's the ticket. PATIENCE.

.actually I was wearing it for a couple of days before I sat down and seriously tried to fix it... but my point is... people have been complaining about this issue for months... why is it not sorted??? Why no fix or update?

I hear ya. And I agree. But mine works now, so... I don't know what to say.
And I'm a systems guy - I know how this stuff works... I get the feeling that it's a VERY slow software update / data tranfer that happens between the Fitbit and your phone. That's my only guess.

Same problem here. It won't pair to my phone anymore. So annoyed. I've gone through all the steps

Device will not pair. Have tried multiple restarts on both phone and device. Phone sees device but pairing does not occur.

My Bluetooth connection has always been finicky, but it had been working well for months. Two days ago, I had to reset my network settings for an unrelated issue. Now, my Android phone won't pair with my Inspire anymore. It sees it, but won't pair with it. I've cleared caches and reset the device and restarted the phone. It's been two days with no luck.
What does it take to pair the Inspire with Android? We shouldn't have to go through days of frustration every time the phone's network settings change.

FINALLY - It is now 8 days since I gave up trying to get Inspire to pair ... I had tried everything (yes I did read the manual and yes I did read the troubleshooting... and yes - I had already returned my Christmas present of a lovely burgundy and rose gold Versa 2 because it did exactly the same.... and yes ... it was your loss Fitbit because I got less enraged over a thirty pound tracker))
Update is .. over the last few days the notifications started trickling in... a little vibrate here... and TWO text messages ( out of about 50.. but hey) there... and even a reminder to move. It doesnt recognise any work on the cross trainer (sadly) but it does record my steps...and it is starting to act like a real grown up Tracker...so I am happy! Point is.... why did nothing work?.. why did it take so long? Why so much grief?
There is no doubt Fitbit is aware of this... so why not just admit it openly - say.... 'it may not work immediately, it may possibly never work.. but try it for a month before you return it!' ..we would all be a lot less stressed..and most importantly not waste time repeating all the totally useless troubleshooting steps over and over and over....

dont bother trying... just wait a week to see if it works, then return it

Hello all, has ANYONE found a solution that works for them?
I have an iPhone 7 running iOS 13.3.0
Here is what I have done:
Turned bluetooth off and on.
Turned my phone off and on.
Deleted and re-installed the fitbit app.
Went to phone settings and confirmed that the app has permission to use bluetooth, notifications, locations, etc. It's all on. It's all running even while I'm not using the app.
While charging the fitbit I have held down the side button until it shows the the fitbit logo and version (22.58.00), supposedly "resetting" the device.
Between each of these I have attempted to pair the fitbit to no avail. I've done all of these at once before attempting to pair. Nothing.
Is there any advice out there beyond the typical go-to, "restart, update, try again" solution that is so commonly prescribed?
