Or am I just unlucky? First one I bought the battery died within 7 months and I was sent a replacement. Now 1,5 months later they’re sending me another replacement because the new replacement just stops recording my exercises of it’s own will. The pic below is me restarting recording my run/walk 3 times before I just gave up. They’re now sending me another replacement, but I’m worried what will happen when my warrantee runs out as this seems to be happening way too often. Is it the model? Is it just problematic like this? Maybe I need to ask for a credit if it happens again and get a different model, even though I like the sleekness of the Inspire 😞

As you scan the board you'll find that a lot of us have the same problem. I reset my device a few times a week, which helps, as does moving walk further down the exercise shortcuts. I have no idea why moving it down from first choice works, but there you go.

Yes I have been through the boards looking for possible solutions, but every thread I came across ended with a mod simply telling them to reset and if that didn’t work then to contact support. They all seemed to end with that, which meant either the resetting fixed the problem or their devices were replaced. I was just wondering in general if this model had more problems than others and if I should’ve invested in a different one. But thanks very much for the tip about moving the “walk” exercise down in the list, obviously the replacement won’t be able to arrive for a while because of lockdown protocols so I have to use the faulty one I’ve got in the mean time. Funny thing is the first one I had never had this issue at all, it was just the battery, and this one had no battery issue but the exercise issue seemed to be there from the start.

So today, after resetting my device, the mapping function worked as it's supposed to. My charge was about 30% yesterday when it stopped recording despite several restarts of walk on the device. I'm not sure if this is a battery issue; 30% doesn't seem like that low a level. I hope you have better luck until your new device arrives.

And now I see this on the banner above.
