Hey, I have a inspire HR and I changed the unit from Kilojoules to Calories, but it continues to count in KJ. Everytime I asked Fitbit Help for help, they just send me a link to "How to change units" can someone on here please help me, I keep having to calculate the KJ to cal every time, I know cal measurements better and I diet with calories.

Hi @JamiePaigeR   Yeah, I understand what you mean. I understand calories much better too.

That Help Article doesnt actually help, does it? Not for changing kj to cal anyway. I thought it was the setting for the Food Database (Account,  Settings, Advanced Settings, Food Database) that did it but I cant seem to get mine to change fron calories to kilojoules when I tried. I will make some enquiries and get back to you!

I haven’t checked out the article, so apologies if this is repetitive, but this worked for me. In the app, Go into your account settings of the app and scroll down to "Advanced settings". Select "units" and you can toggle between calories and kilojoules. I am in the US though, so there is a possibility that you are running into issues that I am not seeing if it’s trying to force you into kilojoules.

Thank you for understanding what I mean, for some reason people don't understand what I'm talking about. I appreciate any help.

@JamiePaigeRokay.  Sorry. I was just giving an alternate suggestion to what Nelly g suggested in hopes that one of them would work for you. Mine works doing it that way.

OK here I think is the answer, but I dont think you are going to like it (cant say I do!) In a recent update this is what Fitbit says was updated (thanks @SteveH ). I think it is saying that in some areas you dont get the choice. I certainly dont seem to have a choice, but fortunately for me I have calories which is what I want. But if I did want to change to kj's then I cant. But why they wont let you change, I have no idea.

@Jrdubyakc@NellyG  great to see you both!

@JamiePaigeR there is actually a bug currently with this feature. Can you try force closing the app and  re-open. This should correct this and display kilojoules instead of calories on the dashboard and visa versa.

Is there a workaround? Are they going to fix this? I'll be using another product if they can't even use modern metric measurements! Pretty poor effort I think.

This does nothing, it's still in old fashioned calories. I'm in Australia and I live in the 21st Century - no idea what calories are and no idea how to measure them. How do I change it to kilojoules please?
