While monitoring live data steps via the Android App the app will initially display an extremely high daily step count - something like +40,000 steps and will increment while walking. However, in reality I've only walked something like 3,000 steps. A couple of minutes after I stop walking, the app displays the correct step count for the day. Any idea why the app daily step count begins with an extraordinarily high step count and continues to display that count while live data is being reported?
