Been given an Inspire as a gift, and am trying to set it up. Downloading the software, setting up the account, and verifying the email address are all straightforward – until you try to actually log in on a MacBook. I enter the email and password, click 'Log In', and nothing at all happens.
I asked to change the password, the app accepted a different one, tried again to click 'log in'. Nothing, no matter how many times you repeat the process. The watch is connected to the laptop via the charging cradle, and Bluetooth is switched on (not that it's likely to pair until I've got past login).
All I want to do is set the time zone; I'm a wheelchair user, so it's hardly going to be counting my steps. Anyone any ideas how to get a watch to work? I'd like to be wearing it when I see the person who gave it to me, but it'd be great if I could at least say that I've got it tell me the time!
Is there a way to set the time without connecting it to the app? Thanks for any help or advice you can offer.

@Moof A warm welcome to our Community!
I will gladly assist you with logging into your Fitbit account. Have you tried logging in via the website at Fitbit.com? Could you share a screenshot of the error message or what you see on the Fitbit Connect app on your Mac? Try uninstalling the app, restart your computer and reinstall it but download the file again from the website.
If the issue persist then please try using a phone to setup and sync your Inspire.
