Logging an exercise class from watch rather than app.

hello!

I'm new to this so sorry if this has already been posted. I've had a thorough look and couldn't find the answer I needed.

I went to a class today which included both cardio and weights. I didn't know what to log this as because there are only the following options on the watch:

Run

Bike

Swim

Treadmill

Weights

Interval 1

I thought I would just leave the watch and hope that it picked up my exercise as it did yesterday with my walk but unfortunately it only picked up the first 15 minutes of cardio and not the 30 minutes of weights. Is there a setting on the watch that I should be using to pick this up? I logged this manually afterwards but obviously didn't get the heart rate zones and much info on my workout. Does anybody have any advice?

Thanks in advance 🙂

From Which workouts can I track in the Exercise app on my Fitbit device?

If your exercise isn’t included, choose Workout.

And see Can I reorder the exercise shortcuts on my Fitbit device?

to see how to change your exercise shortcut choices.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
