MFP and Fitbit show different calories burned

Hi ! So this is my first week with a Fitbit . I use mfp to log my food and I’ve linked the two. If I go by the calories burned on Fitbit & what I’ve tracked on mfp it looks like I’m in about a 900/1000 calorie deficit EVERY DAY. I’m tracking accurately even weighing n measuring my foods .. I lost half a pound this week 🤷🏻‍:female_sign: I thought I’d have lost more . My calories on mfp are 1500 which is about right for my weight/age/height . I’m wondering if my Fitbit is tracking wrong it’s saying I’m burning over 2500 a day nearly . Or am I not eating enough to lose weight ?

sorry so long winded

@Helcb It's nice to have you on board! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your with the different calories you see on MFP and Fitbit. Both platforms have a different way to calculated your calories burned. You can choose trying MFP readings and guiding your daily activities and food consumption on their data to see if this shows better results as their calories burned show lower it should help your try harder to lower your calorie intake and daily exercise. You can read more about the calorie calculation on MFP help site.

Let me know how it goes.
