Is there a way to make the vibration stronger. I seem to miss quite a few things because it is so light. I almost have to be “actively listening/feeling” for it. I did not have this problem on my flex it was obvious when it vibrated.

@Chetbet Thanks for posting! Currently, there is no way to increase the strength of vibration on Inspire/HR.
However, I would suggest posting your idea on our feature suggestions board. This is the best way for our team to gauge interest in the implementation of new features/changes.

I did post to the "feature suggestions," but also wonder if some of the Inspire/Inspire HR devices have defective vibration motors? Could a firmware update increase vibration strength?

I feel the same way as the OP. I switched from the Flex to the Inspire HR and I miss the vibrations often. The flex was a stronger vibrate. I came here to see if maybe there was something wrong with my Inspire. It makes it hard to do the interval training when the only cue to move or rest is a barely perceptible vibration. Is there another way to know when the interval is up?

I agree, I don’t even notice this vibration which is a driver to many of the features. Was not an issue with Flex or Charge. Feeling disappointed...

When I got an email from YojanaFitbit Moderator about this Feature Suggestion being closed to comments I tried to "REPLY TO THIS POST." In my email I said, "I don't understand why this suggestion has been closed to comments. The second bulleted item under '10. How Does Fitbit Decide . . . Suggestions are released,' reads:
'- *How many other community members agree!* This will primarily be the number of votes, comments and traction your idea has gained within the community.'
The number of comments is part of the decision-making process, so why close
down the comments?"
After sending the email I got a return message saying my topic posting had failed due to "unexpected error." Huh?

Telling people it is not something we can change or that is not currently even on the table at Fitbit is not a solution so I dare say this vibration issue is not solved at all!

Agree, I didn't even think it vibrated. I just tested a countdown timer a few times. If I have my other hand on the watch, I feel it vibrate, but if I ignore the timer, I don't feel it on my arm. I tried it fairly tight on arm and a little looser. No way it would wake me up if I had it as a wake up call.

Agree! I would not have transitioned from the Alta to the Inspire if I realized I could no longer use the alarm to wake me up everyday (I’m oversleeping nearly every day now!)

I'm with you guys, the vibration is definitely too soft. I upgraded from the Flex 2 as well and its vibration was very good. I hope that is something Fitbit really can change on this product and not something we'd have to upgrade to.

I’m so disappointed with the Inspire. I wish I had researched more instead of just trusting the brand based on experience with my Flex 2 which I loved. The vibration was one of the features I loved the most and a reason I so quickly replaced my lost flex 2. My experience with Inspire HR has been terrible. First one was defective out of the box. New one shipped with a ridiculous amount of packaging. Vibration on it is absolutely terrible. Don’t know if I should just give this one away or what to do now. Seriously considering other models or brands because of this.

4 months later... Now the iOS update incompatibility?!?? Does Fitbit plan to shut down their operations?!? Things are going down the toilet

I have the same issue. My Flex 2 was great. I wish I could adjust the vibration on the Inspire HR!!!!!!

My Alta HR has such a soft vibration that I can't get my 250 steps in an hour unless I set my house alarm. Not why I wanted this product. Please come up with a fix.

I agree. The Inspire HR is a big disappointment! Thinking of moving away from Fitbit

After my Alta HR stopped notifying me (in any way I could feel) I was approved for a warranty replacement. (Actually, I accepted their half-price offer for an Inspire HR) Anyway, before I purchased, I asked the rep to be sure I could adjust the intensity of the buzz. After a long hold, he returned to tell me that _all_ fitbits are adjustable for buzz intensity. So, I bought. Now, here I am...mad.

I don’t think the Napier works the way the others do?
