I went for a long walk while my Fitbit inspire was charging and now can’t add my steps. Someone commented that you could add online through the exercise tile but why can’t you add through the iPhone app???  Why would I want to go online when I’ve already downloaded the app and I can do almost everything with it ...excel of steps manually

Let me help you adding an activity via your Fitbit app for iPhone. You can follow the instructions in this help article to manually log your activity.
