I have had multiple FitBit devices over the past 12 years with the current being a second Inspire 2 and I am finding that these devices are declining in quality. The current one suffers from issues of not tracking my sleep at all or inaccurately. I may go to bed at 11:30, wake up at 7:30 yet the device will say that I went to bed at 3:40 and woke up at 7:05. Often even if it gets the time right it will not provide a score. Similarly if I try to manually and I had a score that would be gone.
It also has issues with sync. I purchased a new latest version I-Pod this summer and the sync just seems to be lost on regular basis and I am asked to forget the device. I also tried it on my I-Phone, same issue.
One day I can got for a walk and get a score of 35 active minutes. Next days same walk, same route and I may get 12 active minutes score.
Over the last few weeks I also stopped getting the weekly summary via e-mail.
I am seriously considering looking for a different brand of fitness tracker once this one dies as I am not longer confident that FitBit is cutting it and and afraid that upgrading to Inspire 3 will make any difference.
