My Fitbit Inspire 2 screen is too dim when outside

My fitbit inspire 2 has been brutally scratched it feels like rubbing my finger over concrete. I dont know how but when i turn my fitbit on all i can see it perfect in the dark but when im outside i cant see a thing even when the sunshine is shining what should i do.

If your device is less than a year old make sure you contact support - NOT the forums. I tried getting help here first, within a year of purchase, but got nowhere. And now that my device is more than a year old support is refusing to help.

Thanks- I did get in touch directly with support. I was taken through all the steps as noted here - they made no difference. The support person was helpful but nothing could be done wrt warranty as my device is more than a year old - more like 1 1/2 years. They re on a Black Friday sale currently so I just ordered another
