New Fitbit Inspire purchased after losing my charge 2 out walking, arrived today, refuses to display anything or count any steps. All i get on display is a line across the screen. No apparent way of re-starting via the on line help. App (on Windows 10) recognises device and sends 4 digit code no problem but will not do anything useful. I will be sending it back having wasted half my day if I cannot get sorted quickly and easily.

I’m having the same problem! I’ve had two charges and an Alta and never had this problem. I am incredibly frustrated.

Same here. Just received in mail today. Shows charge when plugged in and syncs. However it won't accept the clock selection, and it is not recording steps. I've removed and re-installed a couple times, and rebooted with the button. When rebooting I get the fitbit symbol and www.fitbit.com/setup. That is the only display other than battery %. Anybody found a way to resolve this problem?
