I am not seeing the option for all day sync in my fitbit app settings. And it takes forever for my fitbit to sync manually. I have an android phone.

Fitbit removed the option to remove all day sync and the default is All Day Sync. Your device should be syncing periodically throughout the day. If not try a) restarting the unit, b) closing out the app and restarting you phone. If that does not work then try removing the app from the phone and re-installing.
