Did you mean:

No sleep data, no phone sync anymore

I got my Fitbit Inspire 2 about a month ago and it worked well for about a week. Since then it tracks sleep on occasion and it no longer displays texts or alerts phone calls. It also stopped reminding me to get active. I've reset it numerous times. I think this is my first and last time with a fitbit product.

Hello @ReenaD7

Is it possible that you have your DND (Do Not Disturb) and/or your sleep mode turned on your Inspire 2? You might have gotten turned on by accident. If you have either of them on you will not receive the notifications you are describing as not getting. Look here to make sure your notifications are set correctly:https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1979.htm

As far as sleep tracking look here to find tips to help you track this: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1314.htm More sleep tracking tips and information can be found here:https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2163.htm

😃 please let me know if this did indeed answer your question and your getting notifications again

Hi,

I've already read through these ideas and tried them. It isn't on DND and doesn't have  sleep goal set. Everything worked fine at first then just stopped. It's pretty frustrating.

Hello again @ReenaD7

I’m sure it’s very frustrating. I’d be frustrated as well. Have you tried restarting your Inspire 2? You won’t lose any data doing so. Just press the button on the side of your Inspire 2 and hold it down until you see either a smiley face or the Fitbit Logo then release the button. You’ll feel it vibrate indicating it has restarted.
😃 Keep me posted on how it goes

Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me. I've done that multiple times. The first time it seemed to help for a few days. Then it happened again and hasn't come back.

Hello again @ReenaD7

If you haven’t made any setting changes and you restarted your Inspire 2 then I think your best best is to contact Fitbit Customer Service: https://myhelp.fitbit.com/s/support?language=en_US. I find calling them directly or live chat as the best option.
As a last ditch effort can you just peek at these settings: open your Fitbit App, tap profile picture, scroll down and tap Inspire 2 then scroll down and tap notifications. Ensure all your notifications are indeed enabled there. Now tap App Notifications and make sure things you want are enabled there as well. Also check these as well:

  • Make sure your phone receives notifications while locked. On your phone, tap Settings > Apps & notifications > Notifications > Notifications on lock screen.
  • To receive app notifications, make sure you receive app notifications on your phone. On your phone, tap Settings > Apps & notifications > Notifications and find Recently sent.
  • make sure app running in the background of your phone

Lastly, on your iPhone settings- Notifications- Messages and set Show Previews to Always

I’m hopeful that a settings tweak will help otherwise I would call Fitbit Customer Service as I described above.
😃 Please let me know how it goes
