Not pairing with phone

At this point I have successfully set up my Fitbit and my steps will sync with the app, however when I try to set up notifications or change my clock face, I get an error message saying the my phone can not pair with the Fitbit. I have tried deleting the app and reloading it. I have cleared my user data on the Fitbit. I had removed the Fitbit from my account and then re-added it. I have turned off and on my phone and blue tooth.  How do I get my Fitbit to pair with my phone so I can turn on notifications?

@Vicraw Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well!

Let me help you with pairing your Inspire with your phone and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Which phone are you using? Is it compatibleYou can try the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  • You can find additional suggestions here.

Let me know how it goes.
