Not receiving vibration notifications

Hi,

I've had my Inspire for 2 days and noticed I am not getting the vibration notifications when I reach my target number of steps or more importantly my reminders to move. I've done the following:

  1. Plugged the fitbit into the charger and reset the device
  2. Set a silent alarm to check the vibration function works (and it did fine)
  3. Checked the reminder to move setting and it is switched on to receive notifications all 7 days between 9am and 6pm.
  4. I've scrolled through the forums but can't find any other advice to fix this.

I'm worried I switched off a notification or setting when I was first setting up the device. I have tried to check all the settings again but can't see anything wrong. Can anyone offer any help please or should I just call Customer Services?

Let me help you with your Inspire HR not vibrating and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Check if the device isn't in the do not disturb mode by long pressing the button. There you should see if this setting is on or off.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I've not got an Inspire HR, just the Inspire so I dont think this applies. I've been in touch with Customer Services and I'm waiting for a reply. But if you have any other ideas, I'd be happy to try them!

Hi,

Thanks for your answer. My fitbit is an Inspire not Inspire HR so this isn't an option. Customer Services have confirmed that my device is faulty so are sending me a new one.
