Not recognizing Active minutes

So today my fitbit auto recognized a walk at 3:20 pm, but gave me 0 active minutes.   Fast forward to around 6pm, where I went food shopping and my fitbit gave me 8 active minutes.  What gives?   I attached my steps chart from today.  It also said I was inactive from 6 - 6:54 , but that's the time I get ready for work... sooo.. pretty sure I was active.

@Cloe284 Welcome! It's great to see you around!

Let me help you with your missing Active Minutes. Active minutes won't be the same amount as the duration of your activities as they are only granted for intense activities. You can learn more on how they are calculated in this help article.

Let me know how it goes.

I double posted and don’t know how to delete this from my phone.

thank you. I do understand how active minutes work.

my point is that I was active enough for my phone to auto recognize 27 minutes of a  walk , but no active minutes at that time.

Vs giving me 8 minutes for food shopping.
