Not tracking workouts correctly

Hello!

My Inspire 2 is not tracking my complete workout. It usually misses standing abs (about 10-15 minutes) or toning workouts when I'm not stepping as much but I do know I'm working hard!

From what I gather I can enter this manually. I'm just not sure how.

Is it as simple as checking how many calories I've burned before the workout and then after and entering the difference?

Thanks so much!! It feels less inspiring to see chunks of time missing from my activity levels and lower calories burned.

The best way to do it is to use the Exercise App to record workouts, rather than rely on auto-recognition.  You tell it exactly when you start and stop so no missing time chunks.

Thank you so much! I’ve always seen the option to do this and I thought it was for when I was going for a walk. Not sure why my silly brain thought that! Much appreciated 💕

It can be for any type workout.  There are only 5 or 6 types that show at a time, but this shows how you can choose those from about 20 options.

How do I track my workouts with my Fitbit device?

Glad it helped you.  Many people never bother with the Exercise App or don't even know it is there, and just depend on auto-recognition, but I think using the Exercise App solves many issues, though it might take it little while to get used to using it.
