Notification menu disappears from Fitbit App on Android phone

The notifications menu on the fitbit app on my android phone keeps diappearing so I can't set certain apps or phone calls, etc, to notify my inspire. The menu reappears if I uninstall and reinstall the app and enable all the permissions, but a few hours later it disappears again. I really need to get my email notifications on my inspire. Help! Thanks.
