Why is the pool length for the inspire hr hardwired at 25 metres? I have to manually amend my distance each day which is not ideal

Thank you for your inquiry about the pool length.  Could you please provide a few more details about what you're experiencing? Do you mean the pool length is automatically changed back to 25 meters after your complete your swimming activity?

Hi, in the settings for swimming the pool length is defaulted to 25 metres,
my home pool is only 12 metres so if i swim 10 lengths i have actually swam
120 metres but my stats show i have swam 250 metres, i have to manually
edit my distance in my today stats. Why is it not possible to set the pool
length in settings?

Hi @Alison47, thank you for your reply.  

Regarding the pool length, you should be able to update and edit this information if you use a different size pool, for Inspire HR you can follow the steps here below: 

1. On your device, open the Exercise app > Swim.
2. Swipe up and tap Pool Settings.

Let me know if you find any trouble to update it.

Hi, i don't have the option to change pool settings either on my iphone or my android tablet, under exercise,swim it states lengths 25 m pool, what am i doing wrong,?

One photo shows the pool length as 25 metres,the next day that had
disappeared and no lengths were recorded at all

Thank you for your reply @Alison47, sorry for the late response. 

I noticed you mentioned in one post that you didn't have the option to change pool settings. Just to clarify, could you please confirm if you're not seeing the option to change the pool length in your app or if you're able to change it but it resets back to 25 meters every day?

Thank you for sharing this information about the difficulty you've found ti change the length of the pool on your Inspire HR device. Are you getting any specific error message or any indicator about the pool length not being updated? 

In the meantime, please try to restart your device following these steps and try updating the information again. Let me know if you continue to experience the same behavior.

Apparently i cycled for 19 minutes this morning, i don't have a bicycle?
Pool length is the least of my worries!

Hello @TamaraDD, thank you for sharing this information. 

As you can check in this article, for the Inspire HR device in particular, you should be able to adjust the pool settings by doing the following: 

1. On your device, open the Exercise app > Swim.
2. Swipe up and tap Pool Settings.

Let me know if you're not able to see this option on your device. 

@Alison47, please let me know if you were performing any other activity when the device recognized the bicycle workout. In the meantime, try to restart your device and check if you continue to experience the same behavior.
