What are 'push' notifications please?  What's the difference between a notification and a 'push' notification...

I'll be glad to answer your inquiry. Push notifications are the ones the Fitbit app or any other app send to your phone and you will be alerted with a pop-up message on the upper part of the screen. This are usually used to send you reminder or updates even while your phone is busy with another task.

Hi, in having issues with the push notifications. How do I turn them on?  I've scoured the Fitbit site and fact find it.  Thanks

Thank you for the time you took to look for this information on the Fitbit Forums. Please try the following steps:

 

  1. On your phone, go to Settings
  2. Select Apps
  3. Select the type of notifications that you want to receive
  4. Make sure that your phone has permission to show Fitbit notifications too
