Question about Active minutes and QuickView

I've had my Inspire HR for a day now, and I'm really liking it, the last fitness tracker I owned being a Microsoft Band. I just have a few issues with it so far...

  1. Active Minutes Tracking seems to be wildly overstating how active I've been so far. This morning I woke up, had breakfast and sat on the couch to watch some soccer, but I've somehow acquired 155 active minutes in that time frame, not even close to accurate. I do have a very hairy forearm, could that be the cause?

  2. I turned "Screen Wake" off right away, but the device seems to randomly turn itself on. Sometimes after I move my arm, sometimes if I hit the band. Is there a way to setup the device to ONLY turn the screen on after I hit the button? I don't see anything on the device or on my phone to change this...

Outside of these issues I do have to say I'm loving it. Quality seems very nice as well.

Hi @rashimkavel7, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared in your post, it's a pleasure for me to answer your questions:

1. To learn more about how Active minutes are measured, I recommend you to check our help article: If after reading the article you want more information on how metabolic equivalents (METs) are calculated, I also recommend the Wikipedia page

2. If you would like to turn off the QuickView feature of your Inspire HR, you can follow the next steps and also, please restart your device:

  1. Tap the Today tab, and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap your device image.
  3. Find the option to turn off Quick View.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.
