Hi, my inspire HR arrived yesterday and it's not working at all. Screen keeps jumping around, exercises start randomly etc. I have contacted Fitbit and they are sending a replacement however, I need to clear the data from the current fitbit. I was told to swipe up from the clock screen to access the quick settings, however, because the device is faulty, when i do swipe up (or down) it goes crazy and jumps between all the apps... so i cannot clear the data.
Is there another way for me to do this?
Thanks.

Hi, @vfas , you cannot clear the data from the Inspire HR, even if it were functioning properly. That is only an option with the “smart watches” which can store music and payment cards.
With the Inspire HR no personal data is stored on the device at all. Personal information is only in your app.
I hope this helps. Welcome to the forums!

Thanks so much for letting me know! How unhelpful for the Fitbit support team to tell me the wrong information...! Before i receive my replacement i'm guessing i'll need to remove the old device via the app?
Thank you 🙂

You can remove it if you want, but there is no need. When you get your new one and install it, it will detect the defective one and remove it as part of the set up process. Doesn’t matter either way.
