Relax app gives a message "low alignment" - what does this mean?

Best AnswerHi @keith1950 Low allignment means you have not managed to match your breathing to the prompts well, so presumably it also means you are not getti g the most out of the app. From my experience it is not easy to allign you breathing with the prompts. I find I have to really concentrate. If I getmy breathing spot onwith the prompts I can get allignment medium or allignment high, but I find it quite difficult to do! I assume it gets easier with practice.

Also a newbie - just. got my Inspire HR today. Tried the breathing, and got "impressive" but also low alignment!
Not finding it easy to navigate or input stuff. Do you have to use the phone app to input stuff?
Best AnswerI just got my Inspire HR today and am trying to figure out the relax app. Am I supposed to inhale with the longer vibration and exhale with the shorter one, or vice versa? I've been doing deep breathing exercises on my own for years to manage my anxiety. Getting an error stating that my calibration was off... I wonder if the app is broken. 🤷🏻:female_sign:
Best Answersorry - pressed wrong bit on my phone earlier. I had a go with this breathing exercise and it seems that you have to be spot on matching your breath with the sounds. Personally I think it is more relaxing to just do breathing on your own - in for a count of 6 and out for a count of 6 or whatever number you can manage. It is the slow breathing and concentrating only on your breathing that helps to relax you.
Best AnswerHi did you ever work this out Melanie? How to follow the vibrations and when to inhale and exhale. Mine seems too fast so I’m doing a nice deep inhale and then the vibration comes and it feels too quick to exhale...? Anyone worked out how to do this app properly?
Someone- please answer this question? Do I breathe in on the short vibe or the long one? Does the circle getting bigger mean inhale or exhale? Pretty basic stuff, and I can’t find the answer anywhere!
Ya it was too fast for me - I was still breathing in when it was telling me to exhale... Plus I like to hold it in for a few seconds before I exhale... Just going to do my own deep breathing.
I find the breathing way too quick.
I'm used to the 4 count (count 4 in, hold 4, out for 4 and hold for 4) so this 3 count just in and out increases my heart rate when I get high alignment.
It only lowered my heart rate when I have low alignment!
This is not relaxing at all its charge to had a good relaxation app with inspire has a very vague feeling first people to inhale and then a rattle to Exhale there's no way you can relax when you get that much vibration going on fix it like the charge to please or I'm going to return
