Reset needed each time charged

I've only had my fitbit inspire for a short time.  Needed charging just twice since original setup.   But it only keeps time after fully charged unless I reset it.  Is this normal?

Let me help you with your Inspire not keeping the correct time. How often does your Inspire sync? The time should be updated once you sync your tracker. Which phone are you using? Is it compatible? Is it possible you only sync your tracker when you charge it? Please sync your tracker and let me know if the issue persist.

It syncs all day....I've an android . Time wasn't really the issue...I
meant tracking of steps & sleep would not work after charging unless I
reset the fitbit inspire. Then it works fine....but wasn't sure this was
normal?
