I’m not impressed with the Fitbit Charge 3 so am returning it after only having it for 3 weeks. I’ve had nothing but problems with it so want to try another Fitbit product, was thinking of the Inspire HR. Someone I know had got a Fitbit 2 and she hasn’t had any problems with it.

@carina61 on the phone you open the Fitbit app. If the Charge 3 is still connected to your account, the app will try to sync the Charge 3.
If it is not connected to your account you will need to do an add device through the Fitbit app.

Hello @carina61 I've moved your thread asking for info on the inspire HR to the inspire board.
If your interested in finding what people like on their inspire it would be better to ask the inspire users.

@carina61 The Charge 3 is probably the best tracker made by Fitbit and is much more fully featured than the Inspire or Inspire HR (for example, Charge 3 has an Altimeter for tracking stairs climbed and it also has a sensor for SPo2, which neither Inspire has). The only real advantage for Inspire is it is slimmer and "cuter", so you should consider what turned you of on Charge 3 and make sure Inspire addresses those issues. The Charge 3 also has better battery life as well (7 days vs 4-5 days (if you are lucky)).
Good luck!

Hi Carina. I’ve just posted elsewhere on this forum and then read your post. I would like to return my new Charge 3 too. Hate it already no matter that it’s a better Fitbit. Alta HR was simple and died on me last month not even had it two years. Thought Charge 3 sounded good. Now I’d rather have the simple Inspire ones. How do I return it I don’t know. There’s no return label and would prefer not to pay postage to the Netherlands for a faulty item.

I ordered mine from a catalogue and waiting to hear their response as I’ve already made a payment of £40 so don’t know yet if the money will be refunded or not or whether they will send out a replacement although I’d rather not have the Charge 3 now and would like to try the Inspire HR - it’s all very frustrating! What I don’t understand is that when I first got it 3 weeks ago it worked fine then 3 weeks later I started having syncing issues and my dashboard details all changed ie where it was supposed to record steps, that disappeared and was replaced with calories and a lot of information had just disappeared 😞

I was happy with it until about 3 days ago and then it just would not sync with tracker I even rang Customer Support but whatever they asked me to try I’d either tried or it wouldn’t work could the problem lie with my phone ? I have an iPhone 5se

@carina61 your comment about steps and all kinds of other info has diss peered makes me think that the Charge 3 has been removed from your account.
Do you see the Charge 3 listed in your device listing.

You are right - it did not appear under my Devices listing so how would I be able to get it back on? I’m waiting for a replacement Charge 3 now.

@Rich_Laue Under Bluetooth I have the word Devices and next to it a buffering wheel that just doesn’t stop - could this be the problem? How would I re-install my Charge 3 tracker back onto Devices? Thanks

You do not @carina61 the Fitbit app is responsible for adding your tracker to the device list.
