My watch is no longer showing an active screen when I bring my watch up from being in a down position. It’s downright irritating!
why had this suddenly stopped working?

Let's get this fixed!
Before we go into deeper troubleshooting make sure that "screen wake" is turned on and "sleep" mode is off. You can adjust these settings by holding both sides of the inspire 2 and then selecting the desired setting.
Let me know the results.

I’ve double checked and made sure that sleep mode is off, but I don’t know where to find the screen wake setting.

Ah, you are fabulous. Found it, fixed it and it works now. I had been wondering if there was another way the dnd setting could change without me knowing it and now I realize it is through this same mechanism.
thank you!

Hi. I’ve tried this but when I tap on Smart Wake nothing happens, so I can’t turn it on. Same with DND setting. But others (water lock, on wrist etc) seem to be working fine & turn on and off as normal. I’ve restarted the device but still no joy. Can anyone help? Thanks
