Sleep score isn’t showing up. It’s tracking the length of time I’m sleeping. It’s tracked my score before but it doesn’t work consistently. How do I fix this?

Hi MandaJoy83 (I really enjoy people's clever names/handles on these forums). When you posted "Was wondering if you go into the app and manually tell it you’re going to sleep or if you just go to sleep. I noticed when I manually tell it I am going to sleep I don’t always get a sleep score but lately I have been forgetting to put it in and it registers anyway and I always get a sleep score now. "
I have wondered the exact same thing. Thanks for your post and thought - in fact I have been putting it into sleep mode. I will try not putting my fitbit charge 4 into sleep mode and will try DND and see if it skips a sleep score then. I can say since I've set sleep mode to sensitive (courtesy of a suggestion by member CaptKurt) I did not miss a sleep score but it's only been a night or two. What day is it anyway? Ha. Cheers, Tommy

Yeah, no clever thinking went into this name. It is just mine. I’m not that creative. Lol Anyway.. Yeah maybe one day we’ll figure it all out. Or Fitbit will make it easier for us and get it straight! Thanks for the response.

Mine is the same - have had simplified sleep details for about a week now. Awaiting a reply to my email to customer support.

Make sure your heart rate is turned on. That was my issue.

CB0001 Please try:
1) Make sure you don't tell your device or phone you are going to sleep (let your fitbit device auto detect you are sleeping suggested by member MandJoy83)
2) Make sure heart monitor is on (suggested by member Vette3171)
We are starting to see some good posts and data by others' that those 2 things are working to keep sleep scores showing up and tracking when before they were not. I always had my heart rate monitor on since I got my fitibt Charge 4 but since I started it auto detecting sleep and NOT telling my iphone fitbit app to start sleep now it's given me a sleep score every single night since then (about 2 weeks ago or so). Please let us know if those work. Cheers, Tommy

I did this yesterday and saw this morning that my sleep score is back. It had stopped showing score after last update, I also realized it wasn’t showing my heart rate, so I turned that back on on the Fitbit as well. I don’t know if it was a combination of both things but it worked.

My inspire HR has not recorded my sleep since Tuesday. My device is also having trouble staying synced. It is fully charged - and latest version of softwares are up to date.
Any way to fix this?

Not to be too discouraging, but don't hold your breath. Fitbit doesn't seem at all interested in helping with problems, in my experience.

I will add that I came here this morning because since the latest update (HA!) the sleep score isn't showing at all, nor can I get the iPhone page to show steps. Pretty basic info needed. I enjoy using the fitbit when it works, but the customer support is TERRIBLE! When there's a problem, there just seems to be no way to solve it.

Make sure heartrate is turned on. Then it will show sleep score.
