Sleep function for Inspire

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Fitbit One (3rd one) finally died. I bought an Inspire because I can wear it in a clip. It tracked my sleep for the first nite, but hasn't tracked it since. I do not sleep well (usually in about 90 min increments), so I don't think it is "automatically detecting" that I am asleep.

The FitBit One had a very convenient way to tell it I had gone to bed - you pushed the button.

Is there a way to tell the Inspire I've gone to bed?

If not, is there a way for me to get a refund? I really liked the FitBit One and wish you hadn't stopped making them.

Hi @hokiefit, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums! Sorry for the delay in responding your post.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared in your post, I understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. Your Fitbit Inspire will record your sleep automatically, there's no option to start recording your time asleep with a button like your Fitbit One did. To learn more about this, please check our help article: How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?

For any refund-related inquiry, please check our policies here.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.

The Inspire does NOT automatically record my sleep. It recorded 2 hours the other nite because I got up to use the restroom. I was using FitBit to track how long it takes me to get to sleep, but the start time is all over the place. I have to manually adjust every morning based on looking at the clock. What a horrible replacement this option is!
