Step count crazy high

Got the Inspire HR Two days ago, the step count is crazy high and I think it’s adding steps from me driving. Also start the day with almost 200 steps after waking up.
I sat around the house and did homework all day, said I had 8,000 steps. What is up with this?

I have same problem. 200 steps to go from bedroom to coffee pot. I am find fitbit doesn't support there products. Everything is a website with no answers. Not even a contact number. Better not ask to rate this product or company
