Steps increasing while cycling with Inspire 2?

Hi,

I have noticed my steps going up whilst cycling... considering both hands are on the bars and I'm cycling on smooth surfaces this has got to be a bug right? I can see people raised this complaint back in 2016. Is there no way to stop this? I am on the verge of returning my fitbit at this point, I've had bands under £20 that didn't do this.. I have the inspire 2 but was going to use it for awhile then get a charge 5 but at this rate I can't see this happening.

Whilst I appreciate your response as stated I was riding on smooth ground. I also selected the bike exercise.. seems like a bug to me.
