I cannot sync device. Have been having problems...trouble syncing-disconnected and reconnected several times- could eventually sync, but spotty of ability to sync. Issue with Fitness Pal fixed with that thing. Now, Fitbit cannot fund my device. Have updated iOS, tried to disconnect & reconnect—it cannot find device.

If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed.
