Hi,
I'm having trouble with my fitbit inspire, it's reasonably new - I first used it a week ago...
The screen can turn on with the button but the touch screen is completely unresponsive - so you can't change to see steps/date/distance/HR or scroll on messages or close them. It starts working again if you reset it, but quickly stops again (within an hour) making it a reasonably inpractical solution! I've reset it 3 times.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Best AnswerI was able to get my display working (swipe to show screens other than the clock face) by using the app to change clock faces. Sounds like this doesn't work for everybody but it worked for me right away.
My Inspire HR stopped responding to swipe yesterday. I've tried resetting it, I've tried changing clock faces, I've tried removing it from my account and adding it back. Nothing has helped. It's about four months old at this point.

Best AnswerAfter going through all the steps suggested here I went to chat with support and they quickly set me up with a replacement under warranty. Let's hope the next one lasts longer.
This worked! Thank you!
Best AnswerHad mine less than a year. My touchscreen became unresponsive last night. I've changed the clock face, reset the watch 4x, and disconnected and reconnected the Bluetooth. This watch has been such a disappointment from day one. Nothing but trouble.
Best AnswerDear Fitbi Moderator
please help my Fitbit inspire HR touch screen has stopped responding and I cannot swipe up and down. I have restarted the device. I need help as there may be minor scratches on the surface. Is that the reason or can I still get help to solve it my Fitbit is just a couple of months old. PLEASE HELP. Thank you 🙏

Best AnswerTried the 5 sec reset, no joy.
Did the clockface change, now the touchscreen works again.
Thanks
Best AnswerSomeone on this thread advised to change the clock face.
I did it, and that 'unfroze' my screen. Then changed the clock back to the one I had... and the problem did not return. Hope this helps.
Best AnswerFitbit help team will just want you to buy a new tracker, especially if yours is out of warranty. I used to get good help from them, but when my warranty ran out, so did they.
Best AnswerFitbit wants you to buy a new device every year. They won’t help you if your device malfunctions after the warranty wears off, even if they’ve helped you with the same exact issue in the past.

Best AnswerI reset the Inspire HR tracker and the touch screen was able to work again. Thanks to the OP for the step to reset the Inspire HR tracker.
