In the exercise options I can't see a way of tracking walks. Run bike swim treadmill weights and interval timer all feature.   As walking is a form of exercise I thought there would be and option?

Hi, @SMK1363 , you can easily change which exercise shortcuts appear on your clock face to suit the exercises you do most often.

On your app, click on your account icon (that’s the little person picture top left) then click on your Inspire  On your Inspire screen scroll down to “exercise shortcuts”.

You are allowed 6 shortcuts at a time, so if you would like to add walk, you will need to delete one of the ones already loaded.  On Android swipe to delete.  On iOS choose “edit”.

Once you have deleted you will have the option to add a different shortcut from a list of most popular activities, or you can choose the generic workout or outdoor workout if your preferred activity is not shown (you can later rename workout activities to activity of your choice).

You can also change the order in which the shortcuts appear on your Charge 4 by moving them up and down.

Once you sync your Fitbit the new shortcuts will appear on your device.

Of course, using “SmartTrack” your Inspire will automatically detect your walks, so you do not necessarily have to turn on exercise mode in order for your walk to be recorded on your app and for you to credit credit towards your exercise goal.  However you may want to be aware that SmartTrack will not detect your distance.

I hope this helps.  Welcome to the forums!

Thank you. Sorry, I should have said it's an Inspire HR.  I will go back and have a look in settings to see if I can follow similar instructions.

@SMK1363 , no worries.  The instructions for adding and deleting exercise shortcuts are exactly the same for the HR version as for the Inspire.

Please post again if you have any difficulties letting us know which phone you use.
