When I'm home with my home internet Fitbit updates my data to my program... When I'm not at home it doesn't update. I have data on my phone and therefore an internet connection but it doesn't do it when I'm not at home. I don't understand.

Hi, @Allenabc , there are a number of reasons why this might be, but I think most of them will be related to your phone settings and the permissions you have given your Fitbit app for background use, etc.
I would suggest when you are away from home at some point open your Fitbit app on your phone, and from the Today (opening screen) click on the small icon top left. then click on your device and on the next screen choose “sync now”. That should confirm that your Fitbit is still connected when you are out and about.
To make sure that your Fitbit updates your data without forcing a sync you will need to check your app settings on your phone and give the Fitbit app full permissions, especially permission to run in the background and to access your data. For some services you will also need to allow Fitbit to access location data.
